Hammond's Beach - Montecito Daily Painting

"Hammond's Beach 2"
18 x 24 inches
oil on canvas

This last week I was lucky enough to spend two whole days at our local beaches. One of the things that really struck me was how happy everyone is at the beach. From the beach walkers to the surfers, everyone is really happy to be there. There is a sense of camaraderie and togetherness that you don't feel anywhere else. We are happy out there because our senses are pleased by the beautiful landscape, the fresh smell of the sea, and the sound of the crashing waves. I was very truly inspired to make this one.

  1. wow! I love this one and I want it! Write to me Christpher! Isabelle xxx

  2. I see that Isabelle and I have the same good taste and the same problem in not being able to buy them all! I am particularly drawn to this painting, Chris, but must decide between it and De La Guerra Street and The Granada. And tomorrow you will most likely complicate things even further by creating another jewel.

  3. Hey Chris it's Ariana here, just a little note to say that your art is amazing! Jes and I love it all-you are very inspiring.

ps please call me so I can dump my box easel on you... it is just waiting with your name on it!
